Sponsorship Opportunities

The University of Sydney, along with the University of New South Wales, the University of Technology Sydney and Macquarie University, is pleased to host the fifth biennial Oceanic Conference on International Studies (OCIS) in Sydney from 18-20 July 2012.

OCIS is the largest international relations conference to be held in Australia and New Zealand. OCIS V expects to gather approximately 300 delegates at the University of Sydney from home and overseas. We are pleased to have a renowned expert on critical security studies, Professor Michael Williams from the University of Ottawa as our keynote speaker.

BOOK STALLS

The OCIS V Conference offers sponsors and exhibitors an excellent opportunity to reach a wide audience over two and a half days. We have designated space for publishers/exhibitors at the conference location, which is the Law Lounge overlooking the Reflection Pool in the University of Sydney's New Law School building. The Lounge is the social hub of the conference on the first floor of the building. All panels, tea breaks and lunches for the conference are housed in the one building, making it a central place for delegates. The Lounge offers your business a congenial atmosphere in which to promote your products and is the ideal meeting place to share information with decision-makers and specialists in the field of international relations. We also have a small offering of spaces on the conference room floors of the building.

We are offering a set price for exhibitor stalls for the two and half days of OCIS (Wednesday July 18 from 2pm, Thursday July 19 and Friday July 20). We have set a fee of AUD$1250 (GST inclusive) for each exhibitor. This cost also includes one page of promotional material to be included in our published handbook and a presence on our website: www.ocis.org.au

If you are interested in other ways of participating, please contact Dr Susan Park
